Inspired by the eclectic charm of a flea market in Marseille, Bearface blends classic French melodies on new single, 'French Orkestra'.

Bearface’s ‘French Orkestra’ is a track that masterfully intertwines the infectious rhythms of house music with the lush textures of orchestral instruments. From the moment the contagious beat drops, listeners are drawn into a vibrant soundscape that feels both fresh and timeless. The layering of woodwinds, keys, horns, and live percussion creates a rich tapestry, building up to an exhilarating peak bound to ignite dance floors.

Inspired by the eclectic charm of a flea market in Marseille, Bearface sought to blend classic French melodies with the upbeat energy of French Touch. “I wanted to create something that captures the elegance of traditional French music while still feeling contemporary,” he explains. Instead of relying on the usual disco samples, he incorporated live instruments and drum sounds from a Pioneer SP-16 Toraiz, resulting in a sound that feels intricately crafted yet accessible.

Bearface’s journey began as an acid jazz percussionist in London’s vibrant music scene, where venues like Plastic People fuelled his passion for house music. Influenced by legends like Masters at Work and Chez Damier, he quickly transitioned into music production. His breakthrough track, ‘Bare Brass’, garnered attention from house icon Roger Sanchez, paving the way for his rise in the electronic music landscape.

With ‘French Orkestra’, Bearface showcases his artistic prowess and his dedication to pushing musical boundaries. As he continues to captivate audiences, this single stands as a testament to his creative evolution, inviting listeners to experience a new dimension of dance music.
