Singer-songwriter ERLY releases his sophomore track, 'Open', as a testament to his influences and upbringing.

Rising artist ERLY, AKA Titus Makin is making his mark on the music industry. Following his first single, ‘Ethereal Mood’, the artist this week released his sophomore track, ‘Open’. Symbolising a new wave of contemporary R&B, the song mixes a myriad of genres to make something truly his own. Quite simply, nobody sounds like ERLY.

‘Open’ shows off a range of the musician’s creativity compared to his last track, ‘Ethereal Mood.’ The former is audibly influenced by upbeat bands like Jungle while the latter takes a more subtle and relaxed approach. Pushing boundaries with infectious melodies and his brandy-like croons, the singer expands on the success he’s already garnered and shows us what’s in store later this year.

Having grown up immersed in jazz, funk, and soul, the multifaceted artist has always been around music, which is reflected in his rich and diverse influences. Having collaborated with industry giants, and worked with the world’s leading producers, ERLY is showing that he’s here to stay on his new single.

Talking about the track, ERLY shares, “‘Open’ is just my desire to release a chill vibe R&B pop song. I’ve always been drawn to these types of songs myself and wanted to groove out.
