Welsh electronic DJ and producer Douvelle19 selects 10Trax he'd play to us when handed the AUX at an afters.

'Burn With Me (Victoria Edit)' by DJ Koze

After watching the film Victoria, the opening scene became one of my favourite club scenes in any film. It makes me want to be there every time.

'Glass' by Zomby

My friends and I went back to our airbnb after a heavy one at Tobacco Dock in 2016 watching Adam Beyer, Dense & Pika and Alan Fitzpatrick and had this newly released Zomby album, Ultra on repeat. The afters were made even more memorable by the random industrial sized UV light we found in a cupboard… pretty crazy time.

'St Martin' by DjRUM

A classic to many, but it had to be mentioned, I play this while driving a lot. It’s the perfect bedrock for conversation amongst your closest friends whilst making a mega bed on the living room floor.

'Heavenly Poison' by Yoofee

Yoofee is one of my favourite producers. He is such an incredible musician in so many ways. This is just one of the songs by Yoofee that gets a spin when i’m on music duties.

'ALMOST BLUE' by L U C Y

This producer and DJ is such a gift to electronic dance music. This track stands out to me, I absolutely love a vocal cut and this certainly scratches that itch.

'v i s I o n s' by ones

ones is of my longest friends in music and they're a genius. Not only do I have the privilege of hearing his demos and getting his opinions on what i’m working on, but we also get to tear up other squads on Xbox live together.

'Minus Karell's Day Off' by Kiddus

I could have picked any of Kiddus’ tracks, but this has been a long time favourite of mine from my fellow Welshman. I love everything he puts out and he is probably my favourite artist from Wales.

'The Vibes Is Right' by Barrington Levy

Recently at Draaimolen Festival in Tilburg, my dear friend Rohan showed me this beautiful Barrington Levy track, it’s been on repeat ever since.

'Firesuite' by Doves

Chris, another close friend of mine, played this when we were lying down in a field of tall grass hiding from security at around 8am at We Out Here festival in 2021. It was an instant favourite of mine and entered smoothly into my favourites playlist. It has such an identity as a song.

'Heather' by Billy Cobham

This is one to round out the afters, such a gorgeous piece of music. My dad took me to a venue in Swansea when I was around 10 to watch Billy Cobham and when he played this you could hear a pin drop.
