For their Amazon Music Breakthrough UK: 2025 Artists To Watch list digital cover in collaboration with NOTION, SNAYX talk their EP, Better Days, and what they’re manifesting right now.

SNAYX are the three-piece tearing through the noise and resurrecting punky alt-rock with an energy that’s impossible to ignore. Describing themselves as a band “for deviants and delinquents of all ages,” they offer a refreshing twist that resonates with both old-school enthusiasts and a new wave of listeners.

Their sound is a high-octane fusion of raw guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and sharp lyrics that delve into themes of rebellion, social issues, and personal struggles. SNAYX have made their mark in the underground scene, gaining traction with electrifying live performances and memorable appearances at iconic festivals like 2000 Trees and Download, all while staying true to their DIY roots.

As they reflect on a groundbreaking year, SNAYX are ready for more disruption. Buckle up, because they are just getting started. Ready to push even more boundaries while honouring the essence of punk, we sat down to find our more about their EP, Better Days, and what they’re manifesting for 2025.

Tell us a bit about your EP Better Days. What do you hope people take away from it?

We felt Better Days was anthemic for anyone disparate and disillusioned from a generation that fell through the cracks. The songs are explorative in the breadth of our sound and its angst-ridden tones litter the EP landscape. While desolate in its themes, we still wanted to instill an underlying feeling of nostalgia and longing for days past. The “Better Days” of youth and blissful ignorance. Punky, melodic and electronic. A hint of more to come…

What are you manifesting for 2025?

2025, the gloves are off. SNAYX are coming. Party vibes only.

Who are your ones to watch?

Lambrini Girls. Our mates have just dropped an album and you aren’t ready. An absolute must listen for 2025.

What is your dream venue to play this year?

We would love the opportunity to rip up a set at the O2 Academy Brixton or a glorious return to the Barrowlands in Glasgow.

What’s the proudest moment of your career so far?

To support big inspirations of ours, in Royal Blood and Frank Carter. 2024 was full of hugely proud moments for us.

What do you hope people take away from your music?

We hope people find connection with our underlying political sentiments but also find it fun to listen to. Party punk and catchy riffs.

What’s your most unexpected musical inspiration?

Lana Del Deftones.

If you could channel the energy of anyone in 2025 whose would it be?

Charli xcx!

What song or album changed your perspective on making music?

For me (Charlie), ‘A New England’ by Billy Bragg changed my perspective on songs and made me realise that simplicity and connection are key. Having a song that works as just guitar and vocal while being iconic, catchy, lyrically witty and relatable. It’s raw and uncompromising and it just works. I always try to find ways to capture that simplicity and sentiment in my songwriting.

What’s next for you?

2025 is a big year in the Chinese Calendar. We’re back in the studio this month and very excited to share what we have lined up for you all. We’re hoping to push through even further with loads of new music and shows, and our biggest project to date on the horizon…
