“Bad Friend” by Anna Margo

A visionary of never-ending talent, Anna Margo is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. Today sees the release of her new single, “Bad Friend”, out with vivid visuals co-produced by Kadis. 

Growing up surrounded by the talent of her parents, Anna immediately found a love for creating, and later taught herself to play the piano and drums. Her current discography shows work with musician Iyla on contributing piano, arrangements, and additional production across her critically acclaimed EP. Reverting to home-schooling with hopes to focus on her music, Anna went on to study at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. Introducing her signature style with her debut 2021 release “Place”, this track saw the artist generate an impressive 1.2 million streams and views.  

Now onto her sophomore release, Anna tells: “It’s the most brutally honest song I’ve ever written. It isn’t heavy, but it’s more light-hearted in a cynical way. For my entire life, I’ve been more concerned with others around me, taking care of them and making sure I’m a good friend to everyone else. It’s easy to blame your environment to explain why you’re sad, but you’re actually to blame for a lot of it. The song helped me. You’ve got to be honest with yourself about your flaws and shortcomings”.
