Bowers & Wilkins' Pi6 is for the audiophile in us all, mixing comfort and clean sound to support your everyday listening needs.
Bowers & Wilkins has built a reputation for audiophile-grade products at reasonable prices, and with the release of the new Pi6 True Wireless earbuds, the brand aims to bring its signature sound and design excellence to a broader audience.
Positioned as a more affordable follow-up to the critically acclaimed Pi8, the Pi6 may just be the sweet spot for anyone seeking premium performance without the flagship pricing.
Comfort and fit are clearly priorities here too. Extensive research has led to a redesign that caters to a wide range of ear shapes, offering superior passive isolation and comfort. I traditionally struggle with earbuds staying in my ears while running, but haven’t experienced any issues with the Pi6. That, paired with state-of-the-art active noise cancellation, ensures the new model competes with the best in class for both travel and everyday use.

Usability upgrades also shine. Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint pairing make switching between devices seamless, while MFI certification and forthcoming Google Fast Pair support make these buds as smart as they are stylish. Touch controls are improved thanks to larger capacitive surfaces and more responsive sensors, while wear detection is now faster and more reliable.
The battery life is great, offering up to eight hours on a single charge with ANC on, plus 16 more from the charging case, which features a matte and more premium feel. Rapid charging adds further convenience, delivering two hours of playtime in just 15 minutes.
Aesthetically, the Pi6 feels sleek and modern and comes in four tasteful finishes: Storm Grey, Cloud Grey, Forest Green and Glacier Blue, which suit anyone’s vibe.

However, the product isn’t flawless. The Pi6 occasionally suffers from momentary connectivity drops, sometimes with one earbud cutting out unexpectedly. It’s not a constant issue, but one worth noting.
At £219, the Pi6 is still an impressive offering with its crisp audio, equally subtle and eye-catching design, and most of the features expected from high-end wireless earbuds.
