Fancy catching Curzon Film’s new release Casablanca Beats early at an exclusive screening?
On Wednesday 27th April at 6pm, Notion will be hosting an exclusive preview screening of the film at Curzon Hoxton in collaboration with Curzon Cinema.
Casablanca Beats is the story of Anas, a former rapper who is employed in a cultural centre. Encouraged by their new teacher, the students will try to free themselves from the weight of traditions to live their passion and express themselves through hip hop culture.
Directed by Nabil Ayouch (Horses of God, Much Loved), the film features a cast of first-time actors delivering authentic performances.
Following the screening, there will be a 30-minute Q&A with young DIY creatives who are following the ethos of the film by breaking into the industry in creative and idiosyncratic ways.
