Tune in to the chicest lockdown listen with some of the world’s leading creative voices.

The French label has presented ‘Chanel Connects’, a new culture podcast that brings together leaders from the worlds of art, film, fashion, music, dance and architecture for intimate conversations about the future of arts and culture.

The series looks to discuss how each respective industry is moving forward and dealing with the challenges faced by the ongoing pandemic, leading to new cultural frontiers in 2021. It addresses “what matters most and what happens next,” said Yana Peel, Chanel’s global head of arts and culture.

Podcast episodes include Tilda Swinton who sits down with editorial director Edward Enninful, Pharrell connects with artist Es Devlin, Kiera Knightley chats with filmmaker Lulu Wang, writer Amanda Harlech shares stories with curator Andrew Bolton and choreographer Akram Khan speaks with ballerina Tamara Rojo.

Recorded from their homes and studios, the participants were chosen to represent “both emerging and established talent and include individuals from institutions where Chanel’s patronage helps to catalyse innovation across the arts,” states the luxury brand.

The 7-episode series is available on Spotify, Apple, and Chanel’s website.
