Known for their turbo-charged DJ sets, Y U QT, take us on a string of UK tour dates, playing sets that traverse electronic music and their deep appreciation for sound system culture.
Two lovely boys, four lovely shows. Every single one was a pleasure. Airspace were so kind, and the crowds were amazing! It’s still a mad concept that people come to see us and in such volumes, haha. Love you guys!
This is an example of Cooper with a new toy. We're backstage in Manchester. I’m always secretly into it because he’s enjoying himself, but it’s part of the act/characters we’ve been playing in the sitcom called our friendship since we were 14.
Maybe the best photo from the tour. Must have just dropped an absolute XL bacon double bad man here. (Bristol)
Never gets old. Leeds in a church full of QT’s. The venue was insane, such a unique place, and the idea of it being full of people felt crazier than selling out a club. It made it feel really special. We’re so grateful to everyone that comes. It always feels like we want to give something more, but I think we’d feel like that no matter what we did. We just love you all.
The farm. Too many goats in one photo. On the left is Jasper, a friend I’ve had all my DJ life from the Netherlands who moved to Bristol. He's one of the kindest, most heartwarming people I’ve met on the road (Darryl). Next is Elliot, the creator and owner of Airspace. He's such a nice and funny person. We had an amazing time with him, even though in Bristol I only had one leg in the car and he drove off, dragging me down the street. Then there's Ollie Kirk - an absolutely incredible DJ and long-time friend of ours. We love Ollie. He played our all-day-and-night party in Manchester and destroyed it.
If you have an iPad, download PPSSPP, get some ROMs and connect a PlayStation controller via Bluetooth. Trust me. Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Little Big Planet on the train, come on!
This was the iconic setup that the Airspace boys put up, took down, and lugged across the country. It looked so good. Cooper said it looked straight outta the ’90s.
Thank you to everyone that came, danced, laughed, cried, lived, laughed and loved. Doing this shit will never be anything short of incredible with you lot.
