Nakhane and Che Lingo take to the stage at the DM Boot Room for a one-off special performance.
There’re few performers that can truly dominate a stage, but that was exactly the case at our recent event with one of our favourite brands, Dr Martens, when both Che Lingo and Nakhane took to the stage. Appearing at a one-off gig at the Dr Martens Boot Room in Camden, Che Lingo was the first to grab the mic. With plenty of Lingo fans in the audience, it didn’t take much to get the crowd going. Performing a string of his most iconic tracks, he commanded his fans to perform his iconic signature dance, which most of the crowd knew and were happy to join with. Like a cool and not-so-candid flashmob.
After Che Lingo’s set had reached it’s climax, Nakhane took to the stage dressed to kill in an all-red ensemble. With soaring vocals and sultry dance moves, he played an iconic set which included covers and classics, showcasing his vocal capabilities and his ability to seriously show us a good time. Helping to keep the party mood flowing, Brewdog and Jack Daniels served up a selection of drinks while Mixcloud acted as the programming partner. While the rain poured outside, the heat rose inside. It was a night to remember, with stellar performances, delicious drinks and a wide range of dreamy Dr. Martens boots.
