Indie-pop singer-songwriter HEBE is back with a new single “Drink on My Own”, released head of her upcoming EP.

Amsterdam-based artist HEBE crafts her sound through a soundscape of nonchalant indie-folk releases. “Drink on My Own” sees her return after her latest single “Lifted the Weight” and comes ahead of her up-and-coming five-track EP ‘Release Resolution’ (part one of her forthcoming album).

HEBE’s music career has so far received great praise, with airplay from UK radio stations such as Hoxton Radio, Fubar Radio and Reprezent Radio, the artist has also performed on her home country’s national TV ‘Vrije Geluiden’. Bouncing back after three live dates supporting Icelandic artist Asgeir in October, this November sees the artist embark on four live dates in the run-up to her new album release.

Speaking about her latest HEBE says: “Drink on My Own is about how being afraid is accompanied by feelings of apparent shame and weakness. Rather than looking for cloudy metaphors, I decided to describe quite literally how these negative feelings impact an average day in my life.” Touching upon her forthcoming album she adds: “Through songwriting and singing I can express myself and feel less alone. This album has been created in two years, where I have dealt with anxiety more than ever, but also learned a lot about myself and life”.
