Swedish dance-pop producer, Discrete, returns with the dynamic, world-spanning new single “Drown in Me”, featuring Kiesza, Ouse and Dylan Fuentes

2020 was a productive year for Discrete, which included the release of his debut EP ‘EXPLORE’; a collection of dancefloor-fillers that demonstrated his ear for gleaming pop melodies. He also released a handful of standalone singles including the airy pop-house track “In My Heart,” a collaboration with fellow Swedish artist Pawl that’s since garnered over 5.5 million streams on Spotify.

The Swedish producer now makes a return with his new single “Drown in Me”. The track pulls together artists from across the globe, including Canadian pop hitmaker Kiesza, Icelandic singer-songwriter Ouse, and Colombian artist, actor Dylan Fuentes, uniting for a track full of pure pop energy. The lyrics speak of the fragility of romance, with each singer telling their tumultuous stories, projecting a message of when life gets messy, you can always dance through your struggles, especially if you’re surrounded by friends.

“This record wouldn’t have turned out the way it did if it wasn’t for the lockdowns across the world,” Discrete says. “I’ve never met Ouse, Dylan, or Kiesza in person. They all contributed to the song remotely from their part of the world, and I think that uniqueness gives the song a special global feel. Although lockdowns put a stop to many things in our lives, they’ve also proven that passion for music will never die.” The music video equally reinforces the idea of bridging the gaps between people.

With Discrete’s music resonating with listeners across all platforms, “Drown in Me” is evidence that he won’t be stopping anytime soon.
