MOLTENO has released her fiery new EP, 'Element 1'.
MOLTENO’s mission statement is to create music that the listener can truly be lost in. She creates immersive, fully-realised worlds around her musical projects, incorporating her vivid visual imagination and the expert input of fashion designers to hone an aesthetic that perfectly matches her sound.
Her approach has already earned her plaudits from several major music outlets, and she has performed at prestigious venues like the Camden Assembly, where her care taken with the visual aspects of her performance has made for some truly memorable shows.
Now, she has launched the next phase of her exciting career with the new five-track EP, titled ‘Element 1’. Taking a very literal approach to her elemental nature, the collection is an unexpected journey through nature that builds cathartically in emotion, from the subdued trap beats of the early tracks to the more animated, elaborate instrumentation found in the closing tracks, “Illuminate” and “Who’s crazy”.
On the EP, MOLTENO says, “With Element 1 I wanted to explore the positive and negative aspects of the element of fire, from its destructive powers to its illuminating force. It’s the first of four EPs that aim to celebrate the elements and the way nature connects us. I want the releases to help inspire us to not take our planet for granted.”
