Lead guitarist behind one of England's most notorious rock band's, Kasabian, Sergio Pizzorno crafts a new musical realm by fusing rock with rap on his latest explosive track "Favourites" featuring rapper Little Simz.

One of the four masterminds behind “You’re in Love With A Psycho” rockers, Guitarist, Vocalist, Music Producer and Songwriter Sergio Pizzorno takes a new turn as he crafts his debut solo album “The S.L.P” featuring Little Simz on lead track “Favourites”. Creating the album from a one-year hiatus from rock band Kasabian, Sergio is now set on riding solo and digging right back into the roots of music by experimenting with various genres in modern sound’s. Excited to explore all sound’s from thrash metal and rap to 1920’s banjo music, Sergio is a talented wordsmith for pretty much all.

Yearning to collaborate with a grime or rap artist, there was no-one better than North London’s finest female artist and experimental rapper Little Simz to spit her bars on the explosive track. Dedicating “Favourites” to an exploration of identity in a digital age, Sergio and Simz have woven a genre-binding portal turning their bewilderment with modern ideals into music. Commenting on the high energy collaboration Sergio notes “I was interested in how online dating is a sort of snapshot of this identity crisis. Through the speed and structure of the song, I wanted to capture the feeling of the real you inside your head trying to get out and escape during a first date. It’s a dialogue between two people
who are coming to terms with their true selves through their digital interaction becoming a physical one.” Two conceptual artists hailing from two very different musical worlds and intertwining their talent on an experimental track is one you cannot afford to miss.
