The Great Escape brings Brighton's after-hours to life with the help of us and Sim0ne.
The Great Escape 2025 is turning up the heat with the reveal of its first wave of artists for The Late Escape, the festival’s unmissable after-hours showcase that spotlights cutting-edge electronic and club talent. Set to unfold across two nights in Brighton’s finest underground venues, this year’s Late Escape promises to deliver euphoric beats and boundary-pushing sounds to keep the energy alive well into the early hours.
On Friday 16th May, Patterns Downstairs opens its doors to an electrifying double bill featuring Badger and IRAH. Known for their pulsating bass and genre-blurring sounds, Badger’s high-octane beats will set the tone for an unforgettable night. Joining them is ethereal electronic duo IRAH, whose hypnotic soundscapes and emotive vocals are set to captivate the crowd. Adding an air of mystery to the evening, a special guest is yet to be announced, promising an extra layer of excitement.
Meanwhile, over at The Arch, things get even more thrilling as we at NOTION team up with Scottish DJ Sim0ne and take over with Club 0. This exclusive event invites festival-goers to experience Sim0ne’s euphoric selections alongside forward-thinking producers like Mechatok, whose genre-bending club sound is designed to shake up the dancefloor. Also on the bill is Belgian-Korean artist Meyy, whose dreamy, futuristic aesthetic pairs perfectly with her silky vocal delivery, and Mina Galán, a London-based DJ known for blending global beats with underground energy. Expect pulsating rhythms, heavy basslines, and unpredictable sonic turns as Club 0 lights up the Brighton night.
Patterns Downstairs keeps the energy flowing on Saturday night with a lively back-to-back featuring Australia’s rising star Pretty Girl (DJ) and Bristol’s innovative producer SWIM. With another artist still to be announced, expect a stacked Saturday line-up that promises to go deep into the night.
The Late Escape will keep Brighton moving from 11:30pm until 4am, delivering back-to-back sounds for those seeking something beyond the main festival programme. Stand-alone tickets are now available for these exclusive shows, with general TGE ticket holders able to gain access subject to capacity.
The Great Escape 2025’s wider festival line-up is already stacked with over 100 artists announced, promising an eclectic mix of indie, pop, electronic, rap, and more. For those keen to dive headfirst into the chaos, The Great Escape is offering individual day passes and two-day (Friday and Saturday) tickets. With over 450 artists set to perform across 35 walkable venues, Brighton’s buzzing beachside streets are set to be alive with discovery and sound.
