“Force for Nature” by Benjamin Haycock

For fans of Ben Howard and Frank Turner comes the rising artist, Benjamin Haycock. His new single “Force for Nature” is a melodically stirring and emotionally meaningful track that blends folk sounds with crystalline rap bars.

Speaking on the single, Ben said: “’Force for Nature’ is about our symbiotic relationship with the natural world, and the importance of developing a deeper connection with nature within our, often stressful lives. Throughout the song, I’m talking to a friend who’s gone through a lot and is struggling mentally. Within the dialogue, I’m telling him that I too, have experienced some of these hardships and can understand what he’s going through. I’m saying to him that nature is the place where I’ve managed to find my peace, solitude, catharsis, and ultimately, healing.”

Born in Birmingham but now based in Devon, the British musician fronted a band for years before he stepped out on his own. This year, he appeared on The Voice UK, wowing the judges with his original song “Restlessness”. Safe to safe, all four judges turned around for Benjamin and the song climbed to #2 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart.
