In partnership with

From the launch of our In Session With series to elevating HLM on the All Points East stage, our partnership with eBay, fronted by tastemaker Jyoty, proved how pre-loved fashion, individuality and emerging talent can move culture forward.

Over summer, festival sets weren’t the only thing heating up, our partnership with eBay was just getting started. Drawn to their commitment to championing pre-loved fashion, authenticity and individuality, we knew teaming up would be like two kindred forces colliding, a chance to explore how music and style not only coexist, but constantly shape one another.

That shared ethos sparked our In Session With series, created to connect fans and artists through music and style. We kicked things off with none other than powerhouse and forever style muse Jyoty – someone whose authenticity rings through everything she does, from genre-hopping sets on global stages to relentlessly championing new talent. Styled head-to-toe in pre-loved finds from eBay collectors, our digital cover with Jyoty revealed her love of secondhand gems, and how her fashion and music flow seamlessly together.

And because she’s always spotlighting rising artists – especially through her Homegrown platform – we knew there was no one better to help us judge our Emerging DJ Competition. With a shared drive to create a career-defining opportunity, NOTION and eBay gave one rising star the chance to perform at All Points East alongside heavyweights like Chase & Status, Nia Archives and Jyoty herself.

After sifting through an avalanche of entries, Jyoty found her winner: HLM (real name Hannah Mould). Taken by her genre-bending energy, Jyoty told us, “I can imagine this DJ delivering the perfect [All Points East] mix… opening up the dancefloor and setting things up perfectly for whoever is to follow.” And she wasn’t wrong. Taking to the main East Stage, HLM delivered pure feel-good energy on a sun-soaked afternoon, dressed in a pre-loved workwear-inspired look sourced from eBay: a steezy Supreme tee and iconic Salomon trail runners sealing the deal.

Reflecting on the moment, HLM said: “I can’t believe I’m here. It’s an unbelievable opportunity. I’m super lucky that Jyoty picked me, she’s kind of my idol.” The two even met after her set, a moment we caught first-hand as we roamed backstage with eBay across both festival weekends.

Of course, HLM wasn’t the only reason we were there. We watched Jyoty tear up the decks twice — once on the Chase & Status headline day and again ahead of RAYE. Between sets, we caught up with trailblazers like Sherelle, Arthi and Eliza Rose to talk about their expansive sound, sustainability, and the power of self-expression — all while they rocked eclectic festival  fits and authenticity-guaranteed sneakers sourced through eBay.

We also pulled seven of our favourite rising acts aside on RAYE’s headline day — from pop-rap dynamo Mackenzy Mackay to dream-pop outfit Two Lips — to hear how their sound shapes their style, and how platforms like eBay are changing the way they discover pre-loved treasures. Their message was unanimous: authenticity isn’t just something you wear, it’s something you live.

And that’s what made this collaboration feel electric. By fusing music and fashion, NOTION and eBay didn’t just put on a show, they built a platform. They proved that sustainable style can sit centre stage, that individuality is worth celebrating, and that the next generation of DJs deserves to be heard.

This partnership has shown what happens when opportunity meets community. It’s created a blueprint for how we can nurture emerging talent, push conversations around sustainability, and celebrate self-expression all at once. If this summer was anything to go by, the future of music and fashion  is in very good hands.
