Coventry rap riser KANDA drops "He Will Reign", a hip-hop fuelled statement of intent that proves his time is now.

Coventry born KANDA is rising through Britain’s burgeoning music scene one single release at a time. Breathing new life into hip-hop, by intricately weaving his Asian roots through the productions, the rapper provides a different perspective to most, using personal experiences from his upbringing to express life’s unpredictable nature. “He Will Reign” sees the artist fighting his corner, taking influence from the values taught in boxing.

Amassing over 400,000 streams across all platforms, KANDA recently signed to independent record label HQ Familia and HQ Recording in Leicester. The imprint has garnered him more mainstream success, including performances at Campers Calling Festival, Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, and Godiva Festival.

“He Will Reign” sees KANDA inspired by the progression of life. Fighting through his personal evolution and coming out on top, the single depicts a journey from humble beginnings to future stardom. Produced by Blane Chalmers, it’s a statement of intent that proves, even at the age of 18, his time is now.
