Port St. Lucie’s rising star, SlickBoy Nae, returns with Higher Heights, a track blending East Coast hip-hop roots with South Florida vibes.

Port St. Lucie’s own SlickBoy Nae is back with his latest track, ‘Higher Heights’, offering a fresh spin on the intersection of Northern East Coast hip-hop and South Florida energy. Hailing originally from Baltimore, SlickBoy Nae has been steadily carving out his place in the scene, known for his ability to effortlessly blend hip-hop and R&B, while dipping into new genres with ease.

‘Higher Heights’, a standout single leading up to his highly anticipated EP Dreaming 2 (out December 13th), showcases Nae’s hunger for growth. Reflecting on the track’s creation, he explains, “I found this sample in a drum kit I bought and thought it was super fire. I started chopping it up, adding drums, and then free-styled over it. The name ‘Higher Heights’ came to me because it fit the vibe—it’s about reaching the peak of whatever mountain you’re climbing.”

With an undeniable momentum behind him, SlickBoy Nae continues to push boundaries while staying true to his roots. Higher Heights feels like a personal anthem, a reflection of his journey and ambition to rise to new levels in life and music. As he gears up for the release of his next EP, it’s clear SlickBoy Nae’s ascent is just beginning.
