“Home” by Oriel

Once again Oriel is back to share her mysterious sense of melodic formation, both electrifying and soothing your eardrums – this time accompanied by magical visuals.

The video for “Home” – a directional debut for Oriel – “is a symbolic journey. Throughout it, there is a juxtaposition between light and dark. So the dark is the verses, as you can see it’s literally night time and I’m going through a vulnerable phase where I’m just uncertain about what the future holds, about where or how to feel a sense of home in my life. And then as we transition into the chorus, the sun always comes up, and that is symbolic of home, of feeling that sense of love and security from within the self”, Oriel tells us.

Compared to the likes of Erykah Badu and Lana Del Ray, Oriel has a promising career ahead. With new music around the corner, we can’t wait to see what else she brings next.
