Austrian rockers Glazed Curtains confront self-doubt with searing honesty on new single 'I Still Hate Myself (Maybe)' - a gritty, cathartic anthem that captures the intensity of modern rock.

Austrian rock outfit Glazed Curtains have returned with their most emotionally raw release to date. Out now, ‘I Still Hate Myself (Maybe)’ is a confessional anthem for the conflicted – a gritty, guitar-driven track that balances melodic polish with unflinching honesty. Mixed by acclaimed producer Pete Hutchings, who has worked with Royal Blood and Foals, the single sees the band sharpen their modern rock sound while diving deeper into themes of self-doubt and emotional resilience. With its punchy instrumentation and vulnerable lyrics, the track channels the cathartic energy of artists like Badflower and cleopatrick, wrapped in a stadium-ready sheen.

“This one’s for anyone who’s smiled through the spiral,” the band say. “It’s about recognising that vulnerability isn’t weakness – it’s proof that you’re still trying.” The single landed on 23rd May alongside a sold-out release show in Brno, Czech Republic, further cementing Glazed Curtains’ reputation as a must-see live act. Known for their relentless tour schedule and magnetic stage presence, the band has steadily built a loyal following across Europe.

With over two million streams, 13,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and more than 400,000 music video views under their belt, ‘I Still Hate Myself (Maybe)’ is poised to mark a new chapter for the group — one defined by emotional honesty and sonic ambition. The release also tees up their upcoming Tape Deck Sessions live performance in June 2025, promising even more from one of Europe’s most promising modern rock acts.
