Noughts and Crosses actor, Jack Rowan, will be returning to screens with vampire comedy-horror Boys from County Hell later this year.
Since taking the lead in Channel 4’s chilling drama, Born to Kill, where the actor played a teenager with psychopathic tendencies, Jack Rowan has gone from strength to strength.
For the role, the 24-year-old took home the BAFTA Cymru Best Actor Award, and then stepped into the part of Bonnie Gold in the legendary television hit Peaky Blinders. Last year, the young star wowed audiences around the world as the joint lead in the BBC’s adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s wave-making adult fiction series, Noughts and Crosses.
Now, Rowan is preparing for his latest feature, Boys from County Hell – an Irish vampire comedy-horror – to reach UK screens. In a highly contrasting role, he has also turned to voice acting to become Moomintroll in the beloved Sky TV Tove Jansson Moominvalley animation series.
