Iceland Airwaves returns to Reykjavík this November with a strong second wave of lineup announcements, featuring Tunde Adebimpe, Retro Stefson, Jeshi and more.
Iceland Airwaves has announced the second wave of artists set to perform at its 26th edition this November, unveiling an eclectic roster that spans continents and genres. Returning to Reykjavík from 6–8 November 2025, the acclaimed festival and industry conference continues to champion global music discovery and Icelandic culture in equal measure.
Leading the new additions is TV on the Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe, who will perform music from his genre-defying solo album, The Black Boltz. Also confirmed is east London rapper Jeshi, showcasing tracks from his socially-charged 2025 album, Airbag Woke Me Up.
Iraqi-American outfit nabeel bring their cathartic fusion of shoegaze, grunge and Arabic poetry, while US duo Joey Valance & Brae promise chaos with their turbo-charged take on hip-hop. Other standout names include Saya Gray, Maya Delilah, Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Getdown Services and rising south London duo PUNCHBAG.
The Icelandic contingent is equally strong, featuring the hotly anticipated reunion of pop trailblazers Retro Stefson, alongside returning avant-pop favourite JFDR and hip-hop acts Ala$$$ka1867 and Herra Hnetusmjör
In a special collaboration, beloved local artist Mugison will team up with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra for an exclusive retrospective at Harpa, reimagining his career through orchestral arrangements
