KEEN marks over a decade of its boundary-pushing UNEEK silhouette with two fresh additions for SS25: the chunky UNEEK PLT and the high-tech UNEEK WK, shaped by bold designs and sustainable innovation.
Just in time for sandal season, Portland-based footwear label KEEN has expanded its iconic UNEEK range with two bold new silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2025. Marking 11 years since the debut of the original UNEEK open-air sneaker, the brand continues to innovate with the introduction of the UNEEK PLT and UNEEK WK.
The UNEEK PLT and PLT Tassel feature a chunky platform sole and a streetwear-influenced design. The style draws on the brand’s SS24 collaboration with Noir Kei Ninomiya, first revealed at Paris Fashion Week. It offers a striking, contemporary update while staying true to UNEEK’s signature corded construction.
Also joining the line-up is the UNEEK WK, a high-tech hybrid sneaker that incorporates KEEN’s pioneering KEEN.CURVE technology. Borrowing tooling from the WK450 walking shoe, the WK brings ergonomic comfort to everyday city wear, with a slightly flatter rocker sole optimised for urban movement. The signature two-cord upper – crafted from 100% recycled materials – remains central to the design, continuing KEEN’s commitment to sustainability.
Redefining our relationship with comfort, the UNEEK sneaker feels like an extension of the foot, offering a breathable experience perfect for inner city exploration or remote getaways.
As KEEN celebrates over a decade of UNEEK, the brand remains focused on innovation, comfort, and environmentally conscious design, offering footwear that’s as bold and versatile as the people who wear it.
