Lagoon presents a new music and lifestyle video platform to support fresh up and coming music talent.
Forging the idea during the lockdown period, Lagoon has now launched a new genre spanning music and lifestyle video platform, via Mahogany Sessions, to support fresh up and coming music talent in the Jazz, Soul, Pop, alternative, Indie and RnB genres.
Featuring live performance sessions from signed and independent artists, interviews, visual inspiration, fashion, charity support, social change and more on a regular basis. Lagoon is built to reflect and support the values of a new generation of music fans, amplifying individuality, inclusivity, inspiration, and positivity.
The first live session was with Atlantic Records hot new signing Karl Benjamin which premiered ‘Friends’, already amassing over 60k views. The second session saw rising South London artist Kwaku Asante present a live rendition of his latest track ‘4 Free’, offering captivating vocals and a textured delivery. With more releases on the way, be sure to keep an eye on Mahogany’s YouTube channel. Session audios will also be available to listen to on all digital music platforms.
Lagoon aims to partner with others with the same values to help nurture artists online and offline, working with new environments and options open to artists, post COVID-19.
