Alt-pop artist Zoe Xandra explores the bittersweet paradox of feeling happy and sad at the same time in new track "Land of Dreams".

A classical pianist turned pop artist, Zoe Xandra’s talent sure mmakes us wish we stuck out our piano lessons at school.

The Toronto-based singer-songwriter has had an organic path to success, Zoe broke onto the scene in 2019, dropping singles such as “Blah Blah” and “Better Off Alone”, before sharing her debut EP ‘TMI’ in 2020. The following year, she landed a showcase spot at Canadian Music Week in 2021. Climbing ever higher, Zoe was then asked to perform at the renowned SXSW this year.

After two years away from releasing, Zoe Xandra has returned, dropping the new single, “Land of Dreams”.

Opening with dark production and ominous piano chords, “Land of Dreams” is a bold alt-pop number that explores the duality of feeling both happy and sad at the same time.

Keeping it firmly in the family, the new single was co-written by Zoe Xandra and her in-laws, with production from her brother Everett James.
