Totten Bridge amplifies his eclectic range with new art-rock release “Brave New World”.
Totten Bridge is a talented artist making genre-fluid projects. Back with a brand-new release, “Brave New World” is an uplifting track about the joys of stepping outside of the box.
Making his debut in 2022, in just one year Totten has made a name for himself as an emerging artist to watch. With over 60,000 monthly listeners, it’s fair to say his genre-bending sound is resonating with listeners. Taking inspiration from both British and American culture, on his latest, Totten combines hints of alt-rock with pop, EDM and more.
Speaking about the single, he says: “’Brave New World’ is a song about free will and having the courage to make important and sometimes difficult decisions with the thought that if you have the vision and strength to go forward with confidence the future can be extraordinary. The track was written on an acoustic guitar in a bedroom in NYC. It was not based on the famous book but the title was inspirational for the message of the song which is about the courage to embrace change and make important decisions in life. It originally had a reggae vibe when I wrote it but it evolved into more of a rock song”.
