Emerging composer Veetchy bounces back from his sombre release “I.T.M” with a new genre-fluid single “Ocean”.
Mixing and blending the vibrant sounds of afrobeats with smooth R&B sensibilities, Veetchy is an exciting new artist and singer-songwriter to get behind this 2023. Back with a brand-new single, “Ocean” is a seductive new release with sultry lyrics.
Cultivating a passion for music at a young age, Veetchy was drawn to artists such as Beyoncé, John Legend, and Manu Dibango, to list a few. Graduating university with a degree in ‘Computer Science’, the artist later invested more time on his music and spent days in L.A at Golden Impala Studios with his favourite engineer Darrius. Since then Veetchy has been on a journey of developing his career within the music industry. His latest track, “Ocean” makes for a nonchalant listen and weaves in R&B tendencies with pop.
Speaking about his new release Veetchy says: “My single “Ocean” is an R&B song with a sexy and sensual vibe to it. I heard the beat on the beatstar platform and knew I had to write to it – it spoke to me. I want everyone listening to this song to enjoy it as much as I did when making it as it’s all about spreading love and positive vibes”.
