Desert Air 2024 brought the Mojave Desert to life with an unforgettable celebration of electronic music, culture, and community.
Desert Air, the electronic music festival that takes over Palm Springs, returned to the Mojave Desert this November with an unforgettable experience for music fans and art lovers alike. Set against the backdrop of iconic venues like the Palm Springs Surf Club and the Palm Springs Air Museum, the festival transforms the region into a dynamic hub of music, culture, and innovation.
The event is a visual feast, with stunning imagery capturing both the electrifying energy of the performances and the picturesque desert setting. By day, festivalgoers basked in the sun at the Palm Springs Surf Club, where poolside DJ sets create an immersive atmosphere. Guests could enjoy water activities, curated cultural programming, and delicious food and drink, all while experiencing some of the most avant-garde talent in the electronic music scene.
As the sun set, the festival took on a different vibe at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Under the stars, surrounded by historic aircraft and sweeping views of the San Jacinto Mountains, attendees danced the night away to performances by genre-blending artists like KAYTRANADA, Slayyyter and COBRAH. The contrast of modern beats and vintage aviation created a unique visual experience that embodied Desert Air’s fusion of the old and new.
The festival also highlighted emerging artists, including rising stars like Pretty Girl, VTSS and Sam Gellaitry as well as a collaboration with Los Angeles-based collectives Lights Down Low and Midnight Lovers. Check out our exclusive gallery below:
