RJ Gibb, son of Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb, makes a bold solo debut with ‘Lose Control’, introducing his distinctive sound and marking the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey.

RJ Gibb, the son of Robin Hugh Gibb CBE, one-third of the iconic Bee Gees, is stepping into the music scene with his debut single, ‘Lose Control.’ Born in Miami Beach in 1983, RJ has lived in the shadow of his family’s towering legacy but is now determined to establish his own musical identity.

While RJ’s surname might be synonymous with timeless pop classics, his journey has been anything but straightforward. During his teenage years, RJ founded Golden Age Entertainment and cut his teeth in the industry by producing for artists like Scarface. He even collaborated with the legendary Miami Sound Machine, showcasing his early knack for blending genres. However, it was his work on the Titanic Requiem, a classical piece marking the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster, that hinted at the depth and versatility he brings to his craft.

Now, after years of honing his skills behind the scenes, RJ is ready to take centre stage. His debut single, ‘Lose Control,’ is a vibrant, electronic-pop track that signals a bold new direction. With its infectious synth-driven beat and RJ’s smooth vocal delivery, the song merges the nostalgic essence of his father’s era with a fresh, contemporary twist.

“‘Lose Control’ is about letting go and embracing your true self,” RJ explains, reflecting on the song’s themes of freedom and self-expression. The track, written six years ago, resonates as a powerful anthem for those looking to break free from societal constraints.

Co-produced by POPSCAR, known for working with stars like Anne Marie and Mary J Blige, the single is just the beginning. RJ is currently working on an album that promises to be a blend of original material, unreleased collaborations with his late father, and reimagined Bee Gees classics.

With ‘Lose Control,’ RJ Gibb isn’t just stepping out of his father’s shadow—he’s forging a path all his own, one that is sure to capture the attention of both fans of the Bee Gees and new listeners alike.
