The UK's R&B rising star is the first of many acts to be announced as part of the House of R&B stage curated by us at SXSW London.
Today, SXSW London has revealed that BRIT Award-winning artist Mabel will headline the House of R&B, kicking off a week of electrifying performances from June 2-7 in Shoreditch. This comes as the first announcement of special talent that will be taking to the stage, which has been specially curated by us here at NOTION.
SXSW promises to be a vibrant celebration of underground music, showcasing emerging talents alongside established artists. As part of a larger initiative, SXSW London aims to spotlight diverse musical movements across multiple venues, turning Shoreditch into a hub for creativity and discovery.
Shoreditch Town Hall, the focal point of the festival, will transform into a musical playground. This unique venue format invites music lovers to explore various genres and connect with the artists shaping the future of R&B.
Adem Holness, Head of Music for SXSW London, emphasises the festival’s mission to reflect London’s diverse musical landscape: “Each of our music venues will be a gateway into a different international new music scene.” With the event featuring over 100 showcase acts and an impressive array of programming – including queer music platforms and diasporic electronic showcases – SXSW London promises an immersive experience for all attendees.
3-day passes are available to buy now and single music festival wristbands go on sale 14th April, providing access to this groundbreaking celebration of talent and innovation. Don’t miss the chance to catch Mabel and the next wave of R&B that has been hand-picked by the NOTION team.
