It’s all systems go with the release of Bad Boy Timz’s highly-anticipated afropop album, ‘No Bad Boy, No Party’.
Following the early success of single, “I Salute”, an amapiano-infused piece featuring Zlatan, Bad Boy Timz has just dropped ten more tracks to complete his debut album. This project sees him working with some major musical icons, including Olamide, dancehall queen Shenseea, and global star BNXN.
Centred around the celebration of life, the album’s as much a pick-me-up for fans as it is about peeling back the layers of Timz’s life. As he explains, “My struggle for the past two years has been my inspiration for this album, I have been stressed out, working, spending time in mediation, and desperate for fun… wanting to dance the bad energy away.” Timz continues, “I want ‘No Bad Boy, No Party’ to be the feel-good soundtrack for all life’s moments.”
The timing for this release fell into place perfectly, lining up with the Nigerian sensation surpassing 100 million global streams. It’s a major milestone, especially considering Timz only burst onto the scene three years back with breakthrough track, “Check and Balance”. In the same year, he released a self-titled EP which amassed over ten million streams. From then, he’s continued to rise through the ranks. And culminating in this new release, it seems there’s no slowing down in sight.
