Oxfordshire’s untamed music and arts festival returns this August with a full line-up announced.
Over the course of 4 days, ticket-holders to Cornbury Park’s annual Wilderness Festival are invited to lose themselves in the overgrowth of Oxfordshire. Music, arts, food, and wellbeing activities are tucked into the sprawling landscape.
The festival will be headlined by DJ dynamite Jamie XX, high-flying hip hop artist Loyle Carner and renowned drum and bass band Rudimental.
Also to hit the stage are the Belfast electronic duo Bicep, David Rodigan and his Outlook Orchestra, disco-funk pairing Franc Moody, multi-talented artist Georgia, Irish rockers Picture This, Holly Humberstone, Jazz artist Alfa Mist, Irish singer-songwriter Lyra, Katy J Pearson, CMAT, Charlie Cunningham, Jodie Nicholson, Weird Milk, and Joseph Reuben.
For the after-party, Blessed Madonna, Jayda G, Eats Everything, Nic Fanciulli, Craig Charles, Zero 7, and Mafalda will be providing the tunes.
Other arts will include Letters Live, headlining the Talks and Debates programme – their handpicked speakers are currently under wraps. Roundhouse, Women in Jazz, Cabaret with Missy Fatale, and French comedian Marcel Lucont & Friends will also be performing gigs and events. Sir Philip Pullman will sit down with John Lloyd for the Talks and Debates programme.
There’s lots else on offer, with wellbeing activities from The Lakeside Spa, Maude Hirst and Triyoga and more, the best of Oxfordshire’s food and drink, along with a chance to explore the great outdoors – whether you fancy partaking in ‘The Grand Irrational Horse Race’ or would rather go off for an independent cycle.
Plus, if you fancy something a little bit lighter, High Water hard seltzer will be popping up at Wilderness with a beach bar, featuring live music and DJs – including the likes of Alex Mytton, who will be playing sundowner sets on Friday and Saturday night.
Tickets are available online.
