‘Diet Pepsi’ by Addison Rae

True to her Louisiana roots, Addison Rae and her highly anticipated new single is giving brunette Britney in the best way possible. From breathy, sensual vocals to the coquettish Americana of it all, ‘Diet Pepsi’ is as campy as it is sincere, Addison is innovating pop one hair flip and nose scrunch at a time and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

‘Beaches’ by Beabadoobee

Dropping This Is How Tomorrow Moves, her third album, today, Beabadoobee is jumping through genres and smashing sonic boundaries with confidence. From the Nirvana-Incubus-esque ‘Take A Bite’ to the delicately raw ‘Girl Song’, the Gen Z artist’s album is a revelatory and revolutionary creation. Produced by Rick Rubin at his legendary Shangri-La studio in Malibu, the album took Bea firmly out of the bedroom-pop zone and into a new realm; ‘Beaches’, she describes, is about “how terrified I was getting into this”. Despite these anxieties, as often the way, the step outside her comfort zone has resulted in Beabadoobee’s best album yet and one of 2024’s best too.

'You're Invited' by The Dare

Hot off the heels of his iconic collab with Charli xcx ‘Guess’, The Dare is back again, suited and booted and ready to fuck things up. Here with his tongue-in-cheek new track ‘You’re Invited’, full of playful lyrics and contagious beats, it’s a techno-pop electroclash blend yet again proving the artist-DJ-producer to be one to watch. With a debaucherous music video to boot (our STOP EVERYTHING AND WATCH of the week), the NYC rising star is up to (no) good and we can’t wait to see where he takes us to next.

‘Here’s the Thing’ by Fontaines D.C.

Having just announced their biggest show to date next year at Finsbury Park, Fontaines D.C. season is in full swing. ‘Here’s The Thing’, the third single taken off their new album, Romance which drops later this month, is both beautiful and abrasive, as singer Grian Chatten adopts a new vocal delivery and moves through the octaves. One of this year’s most anticipated records just got a little more exciting.

‘Young Rich & In Love’ by Kali Uchis & KAYTRANADA

Surprising us with Orquídeas Parte 2 this week, Kali Uchis has tapped the one and only Kaytranada for a vibey remix of ‘Young Rich & In Love’. A follow up to January’s Orquídeas, the American-Colombian artist is giving us a summer groove with help of the producer and promising sunny days ahead.

‘Angel of My Dreams (S.A.D. Version - Slow. Angelic. Dramatic.) by JADE

Already giving us a song of the summer with ‘Angel of My Dreams’, JADE has now dropped a S.A.D. Version (standing for Slow. Angelic. Dramatic.) ready for those cloudier days ahead. Showing off her impeccable vocals and allowing the lyrics to shine, the stripped down track and theatrical accompanying visuals, effortlessly captures what a performer JADE is and teases what’s the come next.

‘Favorite’ by Chlöe & Anderson .Paak

Releasing her sophomore solo album today, Trouble in Paradise is a carefree creation, showing off Chlöe’s playful side. Teaming up with the prince of play, Anderson .Paak for ‘Favorite’, the pair have given us a poppy, funky, sunny single that is an absolute highlight of her new project.

'FLY' by Quavo & Lenny Kravitz

Following the success of his Hot 100 hit 'Tough' with Lana Del Rey, GRAMMY-nominated artist Quavo is back with 'FLY', a fresh take on Lenny Kravitz's 1998 track, featuring newly recorded vocals by Kravitz. Directed by Jake Nava, the video showcases the dynamic duo's electrifying synergy. This collaboration follows Quavo's tribute to Kravitz earlier this year and highlights Kravitz's continued influence with his latest album, 'Blue Electric Light'.

‘Save Me’ by Master Peace

Unwilling to rest on any laurels, after releasing his debut album and lighting up Glastonbury with The Streets, we thought Master Peace might put his feet up for the rest of 2024. But how could we be so wrong? The Londoner bounced back today with another riotous alt-rock single called ‘Save Me’, which is taken from a forthcoming EP out later this year.

‘Look What You Did’ by Latto & Mariah the Scientist

Could Sugar Honey Iced Tea be Latto’s sweetest album to date? We reckon so. ‘Look What You Did’ is one of our favourite tracks, as the Ohio rapper-singer-songwriter teams up with Mariah the Scientist for a syrupy love song. The introduction immediately draws you in with its string scores, which glaze the verses from two of pop’s most compelling voices.

'time & time again’ by Dua Saleh & Sid Sriram

Rising Sudanese-American artist Dua Saleh - aka singer and star of Sex Education - is exploring their tender, thoughtful side in their latest single ‘time & time again’. Collaborating with Sri Siriam, the soft, soulful track and accompanying music video perfectly captures the multidisciplinary artist and promises an exciting album to come this October.
