‘Aquamarine’ by Addison Rae

‘Noid’ by Tyler, The Creator

‘Noid’ by Tyler, The Creator analyses the terrifying experience of being famous and the parasocial relationships that form because of your success. Experimenting with genre subversion, the multihyphenate has brought us a new-age punk offering with fuzzy vocals and heavy electric guitar and bass riffs. Merged with his signature soft backing vocal arrangements and sing-song rap flow, the song feels reminiscent of his Cherry Bomb era. Where ‘Noid’ differs, though, is the sample vocals from ‘70s Zambian rock band The Ngozi the Paul Ngozi, which set up another feast for our ears on Chromakopia.

'Disease' by Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is back and gracing us with new single, ‘DISEASE’. Pulsing with an electrifying return to her pop roots, the track teases what’s to come from her highly anticipated album, aka LG7, set for Spring 2025. Following the jazz-driven concept album Harlequin, Gaga's welcome pop resurgence in ‘DISEASE’ pairs her unmistakable vocals with fierce, infectious beats, creating an anthem as defiant as the star we know and love.

‘Problem’ by Cash Cobain & Laila!

Yes, we’ve been able to hear ‘Problem’ by Cash Cobain for a while but this week the sexy drill rapper launched a custom generator that allows fans to pick up to 10 guest verses and arrange them on the beat however they like, and then download the song for free. This has given the song a whole new meaning, as the likes of 6LACK, Flo Milli and Big Sean can be placed one after the other, accompanied by new additions like Lil Yachty and Kyle Richh.

‘As Good As It Gets’ by Katie Gavin & Mitski

Dropping her debut solo album today, MUNA’s Katie Gavin unveils her most raw artistry yet with What A Relief. Unguarded, delicate yet bold and full of folkloric self-discovery, the project captures a new, stripped back side of Katie. A standout is of course ‘As Good As It Gets’, a collaboration with the one and only Mitski. Described as “an attempt at a realistic love song” by the artist, this tender, soul-baring duet captures the quiet heartache of long-term love, weaving matter-of-fact emotions into a reflective melody.

‘eko’ by Yeule

‘eko’ is yeule’s attempt at a pop song, as she fuses shoegaze-y guitars with alternative electronic production. Opening up emotional wounds and healing them with her ethereal vocals, it’s one of her catchiest songs to date, offering a glimpse into a forthcoming project that’s releasing on Ninja Tune sometime soon.

‘Tyla’ by Blanco & Veigh

Blanco, one of London’s hottest rap talents, continues his ascent with the new single ‘Tyla’, featuring São Paulo heavyweight Veigh. This track showcases a blend of English and Portuguese verses over sleek instrumentals, reflecting Blanco's ability to fuse international influences.

‘(Isn’t it) Obvious’ by Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara’s new single is a candid exploration of unconditional love set against physical distance. This heartfelt track, featuring a smooth guitar solo by John Mayer has lyrics to reassure listeners that fears are just “constellations”. The accompanying music video adds a rich visual layer, perfectly capturing the song's essence.

‘I’m on your team’ by Romy & Sampha
