‘The Hearth And Circle Round Fire’ by Squid
In anticipation of their biggest UK show to date at Camden’s Roundhouse, Squid have released ‘The Hearth And Circle Round Fire’. The track was created in an unusual way: “‘The Hearth And Circle Round Fire’ is a punky tune that came together quite easily but we felt dissatisfied with that ease and decided to record it as a 15 minute jam, rip it apart and tape it back together,” explains the band’s vocalist and drummer Ollie Judge.

Featuring drill legend K-Trap, this iconic link up is putting Leo on the radar ahead of his debut EP Home Alone, dropping next month. ‘Stateside’ by PinkPantheress
Has PinkPantheress left the studio over the past two weeks? Because she’s going in at the moment. ‘Stateside’ is a ‘90s breakbeat banger, evoking all the elements of the rave coninuum that we love. Oh, and if you were asking, the track was produced by our last issue’s cover star, The Dare.

Did anyone catch Addison Rae’s cameo during HAIM’s LA show this week? The rising pop star came on stage while the band debuted their new single, ‘Down to be Wrong’, which is a sensual indie-rock track with high-strung guitars and moody vocals.
