"Circles" by April
Enjoy a little April in March, as the Irish singer-songwriter marks the announcement of a London headline show at the Hoxton Courtyard Theatre with a brand new EP, including the downbeat in-your-feelings single “Circles”. April says, “‘Circles’ is about wondering if you’ve ever felt love, thinking about different feelings you’ve felt for different people and how every time it is never the same. It’s also a love song about wanting to spend the night with someone, because in the end it doesn’t really matter because it never works out”
"bandaid" by Abby Roberts
TikTok hit Abby Roberts rips off the “bandaid” with the latest taste of new music from her upcoming EP. The single confronts the reality of dealing with a friend struggling with mental health with empathy and comfort. Roberts describes it as, “a really special song to me, i wrote it for one of my best friends who was really struggling with her mental health and i felt awful because i couldn’t always be there in person to support her in person, so i made bandaid as a way to let her know i am always thinking of her and she always has me with her in some small way. i hope anyone listening to this song who may also be struggling with their mental health can feel the same comfort that you’re not alone and you are loved.”
"Acid in My Blood" by Channel Tres
Channel Tres throws it back to his original sound on the new single “Acid in My Blood”, taking the rhythms of Compton House and infusing them with a cross-country vibe through Detroit and Chicago styles.
"Love Letter" by ODESZA (feat. The Knocks)
ODESZA have announced a brand new album on the way in July, and they’re celebrating with the drop of a new single, “Love Letter”, an emotional synth-driven banger that features a collaboration with The Knocks. The duo speak on the collab with The Knocks, “We started sharing original ideas back and forth. They loved "Love Letter" and were going to work on it remotely. A year or so passed when we reconnected and they said they weren't sure they figured it out... so we were back to the drawing board. Then one day, we got a text from the guys out of the blue saying they had cracked it! This new version blew our minds and we felt like it had finally found its rightful home. The rest is history.”
"moscato" by Fana Hues
Fana Hues lets the flowers bloom on her new album ‘flora + fana’, leaving aside the outer stress of relationships for a more fulfilling tale of inner contemplation and self-realisation. Begin the journey with the opening track, “moscato”. On the album, Hues says, “"flora + fana represents my world and everything it encompasses, and right now, that's growth, love, heartaches, and breaks. It's also representative of how I cope with the state of the world. No matter what's happening outside, my ecosystem is flourishing."
