Neacal, the emerging force in chamber pop, returns with his evocative new single 'Out of Control'.

Known for his deeply atmospheric soundscapes, Neacal has once again captured the attention of listeners with a track that weaves together cinematic strings, heartfelt horns, and his signature husky vocals. Following the success of his debut single ‘The Bell’, Neacal’s latest offering delves into a darker emotional territory. While his first song brimmed with whimsy, ‘Out of Control’ is a sombre, wintery ballad that navigates the complexities of mental health and resilience. Neacal’s warm tones glide over fluttering keys and layered woodwinds, creating an intricate yet delicate soundscape that perfectly complements his poignant lyrics.

The track was written, produced and mixed by Neacal, with co-mixing by Ivan Lubianyi and mastering by the legendary Ian Shepherd – known for his work with Deep Purple, New Order, and King Crimson. This meticulous production process shines through in the song’s lush orchestral arrangement, which is both haunting and hopeful.

Neacal’s journey as an artist has been shaped by his experiences in the progressive/post-rock scene of Eastern Europe, where he founded a band that garnered nearly 5 million streams and toured across Europe and Asia. His transition from instrumental music to orchestral pop has allowed him to reinvent his sound, channelling his experiences into songs that resonate with a profound emotional depth.

Influenced by artists like Woodkid, Agnes Obel and Owen Pallett, Neacal’s music appeals to fans of cinematic and orchestral sounds, reminiscent of The Irrepressibles, Cinematic Orchestra, and Ólafur Arnalds. ‘Out of Control’ stands as a powerful anthem of hope, acceptance, and the enduring strength of the human spirit, even in the face of adversity.
