Who doesn’t love it when an OG shoe comes back around? Returning for SS21 is Palladium’s first-ever boot, PALLABROUSSE.

Back in 1947 when the shoe was first released, Palladium had redefined what it meant to be a function-first utility boot. After surviving decades of evolving trends and key cultural movements, it was time for a revamp.

The updated PALLABROUSSE will look into the original multi-terrain lugged sole unit and side-straps that was created for structure and support, the dustproof gusset of the tongue and quick-dry canvas upper featuring rubber patches but will use contemporary fabrications and modern manufacturing techniques to make the shoe 21st century approved.

The new LEGION iteration will gain new features – a canvas branch stitched across the outer upper and contrasting matte binding, a dual rubber sole with matching rubber toe cap and an organic CVS canvas upper. Not forgetting the 8oz waxed canvas to deliver durability for today’s explorer. All in all helping in eliminating causes of foot fatigue, allowing long walks and extensive periods of standing easier for everyone.

Originally designed specifically for the French Foreign Legion – hence the new addition to the shoe’s name – the modernised version will continue to reference the brand’s military heritage with the tonal colour palette. Each shade available is a representation of the grounds and environments of which the original legionnaires travelled across.

All styles are available to purchase at www.palladiumboots.com and select global stockists.
