Midlands rapper Sainté fronts Patta and New Balance's 991v2 collaboration, the brands' fourth trainer release together.

When Patta announces a trainer collab, it feels like the world, for streetwear lovers, stops spinning on its axis. The Amsterdam-based brand has proven time and again to be the king of sneakers, taking iconic shoes and stamping their unique designs on them.

Coming together for their fourth collection, Patta have teamed up with New Balance on the MADE in UK 991v2. Paying homage to the original silhouette, while embracing a neon vibrancy, the collab will launch in two exclusive colourways: Sea Moss and Pickled Beat.

Key details include the oversized N branding stitched on each side, yellow laces and highlights on a sturdy, two-toned rubber sole and Patta’s script logo across the tongue, while the distinctive ‘p’ sits stitched above the heel.

This is the second collaboration New Balance have expertly picked for their 991v2 silhouette, having reunited with Stone Island last month on a khaki and black colourway.

Breezy Midlands rapper Sainté models the two colourways in a streetwise lookbook, which features a range of current Patta apparel, including the Respect Football Jersey in Blue Nights/Pearl Blue.

So, when will you be able to get your grubby mitts on a pair? The Patta x New Balance 991v2 collaboration will be available for purchase starting December 1st on patta.nl, via the app, and in-store at Patta’s stores in London, Amsterdam and Milan.
