One of four rising artists being platformed, Patta and Converse have tapped muva of Earth for their latest four-leaf clover inspired drop.

If you haven’t yet encountered the jazzy musings of muva of Earth, the ever-evolving alternative jazz singer certainly has something to show you.

An ascending soulstress from tribe ‘Crown of Ọṣun’ in Yorubaland, Nigeria, she’s an artist building musical connections over a bed of afrofuturistic rhythms and atmospheric horns. Planted firmly in her cultural roots, muva of Earth cites inspirations such as Sun Ra, Sade, Alice Coltrane and Fela Kuti, and their warmth echoes throughout her music.

This unique and special perspective is being celebrated by the latest Patta and Converse collaborative campaign. One of four chosen artists, the two brands are platforming those who practice their craft with full intention and focus, as well as who incorporate an organic flow into their hard work. This is none more the case than with muva of Earth, where identity, the self and human connection are key to her practise.

As the four artists know, it takes luck, passion, and effort to be successful – a notion echoed by the collection’s choice of a repeated four-leaf clover motif. Patta and Converse have returned with a limited-edition hairy suede take on the One Star Pro, as well as a four-piece apparel set, all adorned by the clover.

Wearing the limited-edition oversized utilitarian-friendly pants, brush-back terry fleece hoodie, and reversible padded vest, the All-Star musical lineup are a group creating their own luck in pursuit of their dreams.

The capsule collection will be available on Thursday, March 9th at 13.00 CET on patta.nl, the Patta mobile app and in stores at Patta Amsterdam, Patta London and Patta Milano. It will be available on Friday, March 10th 13.00 CET at Converse.com.
