ASTOR’s latest track ‘Poison’ melds mainstage power with dark emotional depth in his most daring release yet.

Rising electronic force ASTOR returns with his most dynamic release to date: the emotionally volatile and sonically explosive single, ‘Poison’. Out via his own ASTOR Records, the track marks a pivotal evolution in the New York City-based producer’s sound – a gripping fusion of mainstage-ready energy and shadowy melodic undertones.

After racking up over 2.16 million streams and commanding opening slots for heavyweights like Hardwell, Sam Feldt, and Nicky Romero, ASTOR is fast proving he’s not just another name in the EDM ecosystem. His 2024 standouts Fly Alone and Storm turned heads, and 2025’s Holding Tight, released on Hardwell’s Revealed Radar, cemented his arrival. But ‘Poison’ takes it a step further.

With soaring synths, pulsing basslines, and emotionally raw vocals, the track distils ASTOR’s signature tension: dancefloor euphoria laced with lyrical vulnerability. “‘Poison’ still delivers the energetic, hard-hitting drops that I love,” ASTOR explains, “but the heart of the track lives in its darker, more emotional core.” Drawing on inspirations like Martin Garrix and DubVision, he sculpts a hauntingly cinematic soundscape, propelled by twisted arpeggios and ghostly piano. Poison is a seductive descent into obsession, wrapped in festival-sized sonics.
