Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist & rising star, Conal Kelly, returns with his new track “Really Don’t Like You”
‘This is a song I wrote, recorded, produced and mixed all myself from home,’ Conal Kelly reveals about his new track “Really Don’t Like You”, ‘It was probably the quickest I’ve ever made a song from start to finish.’ With its addictive rhythms, uplifting instrumentation, and distinctive vocals, “Really Don’t Like You” is the ‘alt-pop meets indie’ star’s finest work to date – made all the more impressive with Conal’s ability to produce and record entire songs independently from the comfort of his home studio.
Whilst catchy, the new track is also relatable: “To put it simply, this is a song about disliking someone for no apparent reason… where something about a person’s behaviour just grates on you… in my case, clearly, enough to write a three-and-a-half-minute pop song about it” Conal explains.
Receiving praise from across the globe and gaining support from Jack Saunders at BBC Radio 1, Kelly proves that he is a force to be reckoned with, creating music without any firm limitations.
Innovative and an artist that ticks all the boxes, big things are to come for Conal Kelly.
