CamRus celebrates tranquility on his latest R&B tinged anthem 'Relaxation'.

After a five-year break from music, New York-born multi-hyphenate CamRus is back with ‘Relaxation’, a single that effortlessly blends indie-pop’s danceable ease with sleek R&B vibes. Better known for his roles in Batwoman, The Witcher: Sirens Of The Deep, and One Piece, CamRus is reclaiming his space as a music-maker with a track that feels both polished and deeply personal.

‘Relaxation’ opens with a dreamlike intro before settling into a textured soundscape filled with stories of love, peace, and those rare moments of quiet connection. “It’s a celebration of the people/person that brings you calm; the special ones that you can have the best time chilling next to while saying nothing at all,” CamRus explains.

The music video, shot entirely on 35mm film, channels CamRus’s love for Wes Anderson’s signature visual style (colourful, symmetrical, and slightly quirky)  before shifting to a more abstract, daydream-inspired aesthetic. As a filmmaker himself, CamRus brought his vision to life with a small but talented team, crafting a visual experience as lush and vibrant as the track itself.

Though primarily known for his acting, CamRus first made waves as a singer-songwriter with 2019’s ‘Chance’. Now, with ‘Relaxation’, he’s reasserting his musical voice, proving himself as a versatile creative force who moves seamlessly between screen and sound. This comeback single is just the start of new music to come, a reminder that some stories are best told through song.
