Indie rock band, PICTURES, deliver “REPEATER”, ahead of the release of their album 'IT’S OK' in January.

Maze Exler, Ole Fries, Markus Krieg and Michael Borwitzky make up PICTURES, the Berlin-based fourpiece delivering unpretentious indie-rock. Creating an organic guitar-led sound that manages to stay fresh, their music is accessible and multifaceted, supported boldly by Maze’s distinctive vocals.

Following the release of two successful singles “Promise” and “Hysteria” – as well as their documentary “Könige der Welt” (We Were Kings) – the foursome has also supported the likes of Paul Weller and The Kaiser Chiefs.

Now the band is gearing up to release their upcoming LP ‘IT’S OK’ in January. “REPEATER”, the second single from their upcoming LP, flexes a big drum sound with a dynamic hook – serving as a taster for what’s to come.

Speaking more on the track, singer Maze explains: “The turmoil of melancholy bubbles out of the song like carbonic acid from a just-opened can of Coke. It is everywhere and yet not tangible. Everything is unreal and only with us for a moment and then already somewhere else.”

Promising to push their boundaries, the upcoming album from Pictures marks another step forward.
