Promising to celebrate their 30-year anniversary with a bang, Rinse FM has joined forces with Project 6 to ignite London’s Brockwell Park later this week. Taking place on 24th May, Rinse FM’s takeover marks the second edition of Project 6, following its stellar debut that quickly piqued the ears of music buffs far and wide for its cutting-edge music and bass-heavy sounds.
Emerging from its pirate radio origins, Rinse FM has swiftly morphed into one of the UK’s most important musical institutions. CASISISDEAD is set to bring his unrivalled bars, fresh off the heels of his BRIT win last month, whilst revered London rapper Nines is onboard to take his wordsmith energy to the next level.
Euphoric house sounds are guaranteed from DJ Boring and DJ Seinfeld, who will also be playing the acclaimed ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)’ with vocalist Eliza Rose. While special guest AJ Tracey promises to bring his witty rhymes and storytelling prowess to the best beats of British grime, garage and hip-hop.
Others among the line-up include Unknown T, Shy FX, sim0ne, Pusha T and p-rallel, with a dedicated slot for star Katy B to set the stage ablaze with her chart-topping album and track, On a Mission, which was released by Rinse themselves.
