Grammy-winning electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL are extending their Inhale / Exhale world takeover with their largest ever South American headline run.

Following a string of hypnotic festival sets at Lollapalooza Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Estéreo Picnic in Colombia earlier this year, RÜFÜS DU SOL are now returning with arena-scale shows across the continent. Buenos Aires, Santiago, Curitiba, São Paulo, Medellín, and Bogotá will host the group’s signature widescreen sound and transcendental live production in what promises to be their most ambitious South American outing to date.

It’s been a record-breaking year for the Sydney-born trio. Their Inhale / Exhale world tour has sold more than 700,000 tickets across North America, South America, Europe, and Australia, culminating in euphoric sell-outs at venues like New Jersey’s Sports Illustrated Stadium, Miami’s Bayfront Park, and the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, where 61,000 fans gathered for the finale. The tour is redefining what’s possible for live electronic music, pulling in audiences once reserved for rock headliners and pop megastars.

Before touching down in South America, RÜFÜS will circle back to their roots this fall for a dozen sold-out arena shows in Australia, including three nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and a triple run at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.

The announcement comes as the group continue to cement their status as one of electronic music’s most vital live acts. Known for weaving together meditative lyricism with euphoric, festival-sized crescendos, Jon George, James Hunt, and Tyrone Lindqvist have carved out a unique space in contemporary dance culture – one that feels equally suited to headphones as it does to stadiums.

Tickets for the South American shows go on artist presale Monday, August 25, with general onsale Wednesday, August 27 at 10 AM local time.
