Nigerian afrodance star Skales reveals his brand new track "Say You Bad (Remix", featuring rising star 1da Banton.

With over 150million plays and hits such as “Shake Body” and “Temper”, Nigerian artist Skales is a well-treasured gem on the African music scene with his addictive blend of afrobeats and electronic dance music. Having performed in 20 countries over the past two years and with collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Major Lazer, it’s safe to say he is making huge waves internationally too.

His latest dancefloor filler “Say You Bad (Remix)” featuring breakout Nigerian artist 1da Banton comes just in time for his European Summer tour which kicked off on the 8th of July. It’s destined to be a firm favourite on the festival circuit with its hypnotising drums, synth chords and catchy flow. Celebrating the beauty of African women, 1da Banton completes the circle, seeing out the tune with melodic aptitude.

Produced by Eardrumz and DTAC, the track is a first taster of Skales’ upcoming Sweet Distractions Deluxe Album and arrives alongside an accompanying music video directed by Gorilla Boy, who has worked with Rema and Naira Marley. A well-seasoned veteran on the scene, with five critically-acclaimed projects already under his belt, “Say You Bad (Remix)” adds to Skales’ already impressive roster.
