Making a jazzy comeback, Andy Jordan is ready to focus on nothing but perfecting his sound.
After freeing himself from the shackles of reality TV, Andy Jordan is ready to immerse himself into an entirely new project; these days, he’s focusing on his burgeoning musical career, and he’s ready for us to pay attention. Releasing the first single since his EP Another Man’s Eyes in 2016, Andy is determined to make a fresh start with his soulful sounds, and if his latest offering is anything to go be, our guess is that he’ll succeed. “I’ve had a few years of high and lows and have written plenty of songs to tell the tales,” he explains. I’m stoked for everyone to hear my new track.”
We were lucky enough to catch a moment with the pleasantly self-sufficient man himself to discuss his all time top 10Trax…
"To The Moon" by Isaac Waddington
"I love this song, its all about escapism - the vocals and the keyboard make me feel like I'm floating, this track is a great for decompressing!"
"Garden of Eden" by Mathilda Homer
"I feel like the song perfectly captures the image of the two of them converting their bedroom into some sort of a fantasy land. I love this concept and it’s one we can all relate to when you’re with the right person, you could be anywhere. Mathilda has captured this both lyrically and melodically!"
YOU by Hamzaa
"The 6 track ep “first signs of me” deals with some hard hitting messages that everyone deals with in 2019! Following highs and lows the aim of the record was to make people feel good, and in particular I like the simplicity of this track. As a general note on Hamzaa, I’d pick her as my one to watch for 2019- she’s in for a huge year, and deservedly so! "
"Drawn" by De La Soul and Little Dragon
"Obsessed with the transitions in this track.... recently become obsessed with a songs that take you on a journey and leave you wanting more - I always have to listen to it twice."
"Sister" by Haux
"The first time I heard this song I was on the tube, I was so moved by the lyrics I started crying in public!"
"Sans Elle" by Sande Cosett
"This track is in French and has the nicest soft reggae vibe - It puts me in a great mood in the mornings."
"Mad About You" by Son Little
"Recently started dating someone and when I listen to this song it makes me want to grow the balls to tell her how great she is. Love the lyrics."
"Slow Down" by Maverick Sabre Ft Jorja Smith
"Have been a huge Maverick Sabre fan for years, but when I heard he had teamed up with Jorja smith it felt like Christmas had come early. "
"Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones
"Anyone who knows me well could tell you that I listen to this album almost everyday at the end of the day in a hot bath - sometimes with a glass of red!"
"Coming Home" by Leon Bridges
"A great one for belting out in the shower! (Especially if you have a plus one)"
