London duo Make A Dance select a playlist of groovy floor fillers to celebrate the release of their new Young Man EP and the fifth anniversary of their record label, M.A.D..

If you’re ever in need of a boogie, you could do worse than sticking on a mix from London duo Make A Dance. Their blends of timeless house music and groovy floor fillers, sometimes released on their M.A.D record label, never fail to get the party started.

Celebrating the imprint’s fifth anniversary, they’ve just released the Young Man EP, which has been gaining support from Palms Trax, Bradley Zero, Moxie and any other DJ who plays four-to-the-floor heaters and is worth knowing about.

Before checking it out, swipe through and listen to the selection of driving, percussive house music they’ve curated as part of our latest 10Trax feature.

'Young Man' by Make A Dance

Newest single from us - been road testing this for a few years so feels great to get it out in the world!

'Sex On The Streets (Play Boys Fully Loaded Dub)' by Pizzaman

Picked this record up while digging in Thailand at the beginning of year, such a dope little spot sold vintage tees and records.

'Rumore Chimico (Peter's NY Club Edit)' by Alma Matris

Another record from the same shop in Thailand, love this one driving and tribal and always glues the room together. It was the end of our tour. Thailand is such a vibe and we met the best gang who showed us the spots.

'Touch Me' by Bruno

I actually tried to sign this record for our M.A.D Edits label but he was having none of it. It’s been a secret weapon this year for me but music is for sharing it’s available on his Bandcamp so go and support.

'Midnight Club' by William Kiss

Peak time bomb this one. Smashes the dance floor to bits; that ripping synth hit really does it for me.

'I Am One, I Am Many' by James Curd (Make A Dance Remix)

A remix we did a few years back but we still play regularly; it’s just got a nice groove to it and we really like the arrangement.

'Snapped' by Cabin Fever (6channels I've Got The Power Remaster)

I bought this 12” a few years ago. It’s always fun to unleash. It takes a good while before the sample sneaks in but when it comes, you know about it.

'EURO TRASH' by NORTH 90

We signed this record before the demo had even finished playing... a testament to the versatility of North 90 (see the rest of the EP). This never fails and has been supported across the board from BBC Radio 1 to Palms Trax, Kamma & Massalo and others.

'Traktion' by 51 Days

In the lead up to P Bar I went to my local record dealer (Japhy) for a last minute dig. By chance, this was the first 12” I picked up... only to found out it was part of his personal collection. Thankfully, he had an extra one in stock. The whole 12” is house mastery.

'Same Life' by Wilson Phoenix

Wilson Phoenix is an alias of a very prolific producer. I played the other side of this at our Phonica Records vinyl store day. This was the first track I played on the night. It’s always a bit nerve wracking playing vinyl at a new club as you never quite know how the sound will be but unsurprisingly the turntables are set up immaculately at the Big B :)

'I Can Move Move' by Eris Drew (Baby Rollén Remix)

This is one of those tunes that can fit in to any set. Just pure rolling energy for the Boss Baby!
